A few cards!!

Just want to thank everyone who has entered the valentine competition so far. I have had a great response - so keep them coming ladies!!!!! You never know, it could be YOU!!!!

Made a couple of cards this week and have started on a couple of projects, which reminds me I havent posted the pics of my mums scrapbook for christmas yet. Hmmm, I must do that tomorrow!!

Oh yeah thats what I was going to ask - I hardly ever stamp, but I have seen some circle stamps with birthday sentiments written round the edges and through the middle. I have found the Autumn leaves ones, but their not birthday sentiments, If anyone has a clue what I am talking about, could you please, please tell me who makes them.

Anyway supplies for the cards are: Papers - pink petticoat, Brads and eyelets - Poppicrafts, Ribbon - ribbon oasis.

thanks for popping by...

These are gorgeous cards. I love the one with the cuttlebug circles background, and your colors are so pretty and bright.

As for the circle sentiments. Stampin' Up came to mind for me as well. Here is a link of a card -- http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/777293?si=riveting -- from SCS that shows the one stamp from an older Riveting set (no longer in the SU book though you may find it on Ebay). There are a lot of stamp companies making sentiments that have words in a circle lately. I will keep an eye out to let you know if I see any others.

Such a bright and colourful display, you are so talented, yes I know, I am your Mum but it is true. Can't wait for you to put the lovely book you made me for Christmas on screen. Crafters will love it. Keep up your beautiful work. xxx

Oh gosh! You recently posted some items to me in France and invited me to look at your blog. Being completely delighted with the contents of my parcel I decided to take a peek (not quite knowing what a blog was!) -and now I am completely phased!!!

Will I ever work up the courage to make another card having seen your beautiful designs ;-)

I am feeling a complete beginner and very inadequate, but I don't know how to describe the squiggly excitement inside that your inspiration has given me.

It's tough out here because cardmaking does not seem to be very popular (yet!) and there are no crafts shops or classes for advice or help with techniques -so I am just trying to improvise on pictures I see. The results are very varied, so it encouraged me to see your comment that after all, it's only a card! That will be my motto for the day!

Many, many thanks for sharing your creativity -I'll pop in from time to time!
